Some early ag pics from Des Smith

I recently received a batch of photographs from Des Smith depicting some of the aircraft that he noted during his long career in aviation.
Above is an unknown Fieldair Beaver as flown by Bob Cranston at Waipukurau in 1970.
Fieldair Beaver ZK-BFN (c/n 564) as seen at Hasting in early 1960. This arrived in NZ in September of 1954 and was written off at Gisborne on 14-04-1969.
Fletcher FU24 ZK-BHI (c/n 11) was built in the US in March 1955 and first flew in NZ on 25-05-1955. It is shown above in its Aerial Projects scheme in the late 1950's. It transferred to Sherwood Aviation on 01-04-1960 but was lost in an accident shortly after at Otamauri on 15-07-1960.
The Cessna 180 ZK-BGF (c/n 31136) was imported by Rural Aviation and appeared on the register on 11-08-1954, was granted its CofA on 08-12-1954 and delivered to Derek Turnbull who listed it under his Company name of Wings Fertilisers Ltd on 21-03-1955. It is seen at Hastings sometime between 1955 and early 1958 when it was exported to Australia, where it was still active until at least 1977.
