Tango Mike, Foxtrot Oscar'd to VH land.

Schempp-Hirth Ventus C ZK-GTM c/n 512 was finally cancelled on 10-06-2009.
This high performance glider first flew on 04-05-1991 and became N4SF with Sam Fly at Irving, Texas on the 14th. This registration was quickly changed to N4XU.
I spied it on 26-06-1995 whilst it was being NZ certified to become ZK-GQT1 with Dave Speight of Speargrass Flat (Queenstown) on 14-07-1995.
It was acquired by Tim Harrison of Tara Hills Station, Omarama on 15-12-1998 and re-registered the same day to ZK-GTM. "T" for Tim and "M" for Margeau. It also had (for some time) a small leter "i" between the T & M to read "TiM". I think Don Mallinson flew it for a while and it was occasionally leased to foreign pilots through one of the commercial glider operators at Omarama.
Tim never did get the registration letters aesthetically lined up, but this did not upset its flying capabilities.
Tim & Margeau purchased 365 days a year business about three years ago so the glider did not get a lot of flying so it was sold off to Ian Grant in Victoria, Australia on 05-09-2008.
