Masterton 17-06-2012

My secret squirrel was at Masterton today and sent in a couple of pics for the blog.
Above is the Rex Kenny, Sonex ZK-RMK c/n 690, which has been on the register since 06-06-2008.
Sitting on its jacks in the back of Craig Stobbs hangar is his Glasair project. This was started in the US and continues slowly at Masterton. The upper photo was taken on 08-02-2007 and the lower shot taken today. I am sure you all notice the change to the fin and rudder and also to the wing tips. That looks powerfully like a 540 up front. ZK-UAE could be a likely reservation for this one.
Thanks to GML for todays pics.
