Two from North Shore on June the 5th. (updated 06-06-2014)

We have a couple of shots from North Shore - taken today (05-06-2014) by Sir Minty.
The Cessna 172M ZK-CBZ2 (c/n 17261691) first appeared on the US register as N3591Q in May of 1973. It came to NZ to be registered here on 24-11-2011, briefly to C B C Aviation Ltd of Whitianga, before listing with Sunair Aviation of Mount Maunganui on the 20th February 2011.
Note the after market exhaust.
Pic below shows Partenavia ZK-PLA at North Shore today (05-06-2014).
The Partenavia P68B ZK-PLA (c/n 086) has - apart from a short time down south - been an Auckland identity since Dennis Thompson International Ltd first registered it here on 13-01-1984.  Built in late 1976 it spent about a year in the UK as G-BEJX, a demonstrator with D K Aviation, before taking up station in Dubai as A6-ALO with Aero Gulf Services in 1978.
It arrived in NZ on 11-01-1984. If memory serves me Interworld Plastics had an interest in it and it went on line with the Auckland Aero Club (NZ Air Charter) from 17-02-1984.

In mid 1986 Motor Holdings (Aviation) Ltd of Dunedin appear on the scene followed by Air Wakatipu.

But by 11-04-1988 it was back at Ardmore with Waitemata Air Services Ltd.
Air Services Whitianga, who traded as Air Coromandel, came on the scene from 01-11-1993.

Then it was the turn of Great Barrier Airlines Ltd from 28-06-1996.
It was listed to Air Services Whitianga/Great Barrier Airlines Ltd from 04-07-1996 through to 06-06-1998 when it was relisted to Great Barrier Airlines Flight Operations Ltd from 06-06-1998 - with whom it is still active.
Photo above show ZK-PLA at the Omaka Air Show on 11-04-2009 in its Tui scheme.
